Cassoulet Dinner, Alt-Valentine's Day on the Mezzanine

Lark is offering an alternative to our traditional, four course Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner. Upstairs on the mezzanine there will be a communal dinner complete with bitters-based cocktails to reflect, ahem, alternative feelings about they lovey-dovey day. The dinner will be served family-style and there will be a handful of special bitters-based, amaro-centric cocktails available to order. Join in for a convivial night of good food, new friends, and a different way to toast to St. Valentine. The dinner is $55/person, with cocktails and wine available for purchase, and is limited to 24 guests—call 206.323.5275 to save a spot.

 

Here’s the menu:

 

First:

Compass Point oysters, served raw with red wine mignonette

 

Ember-roasted pear salad with kale, fennel, togarashi and creamy Meyer lemon dressing

 

Charcuterie boards with coppa, smoked prosciutto, Fra Mani salame, pork rillettes and pickles

 

Second:

Cassoulet with duck confit, garlic sausage, pork shoulder, lamb ribs, white beans, tomato, and a duck fat bread crumb crust

or

Cassoulet of root vegetables, Rockwell beans, wild mushrooms, and smoked bread crumbs

 

Caramelized Brussels sprouts with garlic and chiles

 

 

Dessert:

Dark chocolate cake, candied pecans, cold brew espuma, and yeast ice cream
